Guide Right Committee Meeting (Sep 5, 6PM) – The event will be held at the HKAC. The new year is upon us and it's time to go to work as we continue with shaping tomorrow's future leaders. We were pleased to have in our fold more than 30 potentially new students at this past Saturday's interest meeting and have the opportunity to impact well over 50 young men this year.
With that said, we are scheduled to have our first Guide Right Committee meeting on Thursday, September 5 at the HKAC. (6:00 p.m.) The goal of this meeting is to assemble our Guide Right Committee and map out the school year. Please plan to attend and bring your ideas as well as share with other 'financial' HAC Brothers who are interested in joining us. As always thanks for all that you do and have a great evening.

Taste of Kappa (Aug 9) – Brothers its that time again, we are holding our biggest money making event of the year. The Taste of Kappa will be held on August 9th. Tickets are now available. 84th Grand Chapter Meeting (July 30-August 4) - The 84th Grand Chapter Meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA. Registration is open online. Early registration Oct 1 – Feb 1, 2019, Regular Registration Feb 2-Jun 30, Onsite Registration Jul 30-Aug 3. Hotel Reservations will open on November 12, 2018. HAC All White Party (March 11) – The HAC will host the “All White Affair” at the Roundhouse located at 398 Monroe Street, Huntsville, AL 35801. The event will take place from 7PM-1230AM. 7-9:30 “TBA” and 9PM-12:30AM DJ E-Rok (ATL). Admission will be $30 per person. 69th Southern Province Council (April 11-14) – Registration is open for the 69th Southern Province Council. The council will be held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, 2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa, Florida USA 33607. Early Registration is available till January 27, 2019 at $200. January 28-Feb 28, 2019 at $250. After February 28, 2019 at $300. Hotel bookings cost $199 per night and reservations can be made at 1-813-874-1234.

HAC Adopt-A-Mile Cleanup (April 6) – The HAC will perform our Bi-Annual Adopt-A-Mile project from 8AM-10AM. All participants will meet the Alabama A&M ROTC Building. Through "Operation Green Team", the Chapter adopted the section of Meridian St that starts at Chase Road NE to MLK, Jr. Elementary School. Additionally, the Chapter adopted all of Industrial Dr NW. Brothers are asked to wear Kappa Paraphilia, Hats, and Jeans and boots as the we will be walking in grassy areas. POC for this event is Brother Alvin Rankin please contact him at akrankins@yahoo.com.

HAC Revival (April 1-2) – The Union Hill P.B. Church pastored by Elder Oscar Montgomery will host our HAC Revival. The guest speaker will be Sr. Pastor, Dr. Howard-John Wesley, Evangelist, Pastor of Alfred Street Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA. Alpha Phi Alpha Ensemble will sing on April 1 and the Kappa Choir will sing on April 2. If you would like to usher please contact Brother Lawrence Abrams or Brother Chris Calhoun. KK/KL MLK Jr. Parade (January 19) – On Saturday, January 19, 2019 we will participate in the 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration Parade that starts promptly at 12:00 p.m. in downtown Huntsville. We will assemble in Lot K (33 Clinton Avenue North) and MUST be in place by 11:00 a.m. The dress for Brothers Kappa attire.

We need 5 volunteers/5 Assistant Drivers to drive for deliveries.
