Guide Right 1st Regular Meeting (Sep 7, 10AM) – The event will be held at the First Missionary Baptist Church.
Guide Right Committee Meeting (Sep 5, 6PM) – The event will be held at the HKAC. The new year is upon us and it's time to go to work as we continue with shaping tomorrow's future leaders. We were pleased to have in our fold more than 30 potentially new students at this past Saturday's interest meeting and have the opportunity to impact well over 50 young men this year.
With that said, we are scheduled to have our first Guide Right Committee meeting on Thursday, September 5 at the HKAC. (6:00 p.m.) The goal of this meeting is to assemble our Guide Right Committee and map out the school year. Please plan to attend and bring your ideas as well as share with other 'financial' HAC Brothers who are interested in joining us. As always thanks for all that you do and have a great evening.

Healthy Kappa’s (Aug 31, 6AM) – The Healthy Kappa’s will meet at two locations. All walkers meet at Heritage Middle School on County Line. All runners meet at Panera Bread Bridge Street. POC for this event is Brother Foster Gaddis and Brother Jeffery Bolden.
Senior Kappa Breakfast (August 30, 9AM) - The Senior Kappa’s will meet for their monthly breakfast at IHOP on 6151 University Drive NW. POC for this event is Brother Richard Showers.
Kappa Homegoing (Brother Howard Robinson) - (Aug 23, 5PM) - The wake for Brother Howard Robinson will be held on Friday at the Greenview Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 3657 Old Chisholm Road, Florence, AL 35633. The HAC will perform a homegoing ceremony for Brother Robinson. We are asking all brothers that are participating in the ceremony be there at 4:30 to do a practice for the event. Attire for the event is Red Blazer, Black Pants, White Shirt, Red String Tie and Black Shoes. If you don't have a Red Blazer please wear your black jacket.
Senior Kappa Community Outreach (Aug 23, 845AM) – The Senior Kappas will host a community outreach. The Senior Kappas will open a discussion to the community to discuss scams and things that happen to seniors within our community. All brother that can attend will be appreciated for your support.
The HAC Polemarch will hold the annual Polemarch Retreat where he will be laying out the strategic plan and vision for the 2019-2020 year. Additional details will be provided at a later date.
Taste of Kappa (Aug 9) – Brothers its that time again, we are holding our biggest money making event of the year. The Taste of Kappa will be held on August 9th. Tickets are now available. Each ticket is $40 dollars. Please contact Brothers Jentry McGee, Eddie Williams, or Roderick Mack for additional details or tickets.
84th Grand Chapter Meeting (July 30-August 4) - The 84th Grand Chapter Meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA. Registration is open online. Early registration Oct 1 – Feb 1, 2019, Regular Registration Feb 2-Jun 30, Onsite Registration Jul 30-Aug 3. Hotel Reservations will open on November 12, 2018. The Huntsville Alumni Chapter will celebrate June Birthdays and have a Nupes Night out at 6PM at the Huntsville Kappa Achievement Center. Calling all Gemini’s and Cancer’s to come out!!. This is a Brothers Only event and a BYOB affair. Bring a brother with you as this is a chance to BOND and reclaim brothers within the area. All financial and non-financial brothers are welcome. Reclamation Luncheon (May 31) – The HAC will hold their monthly reclamation. The lunch will be at Moe’s Original Barbecue at 11:30AM. The address is 445 Providence Main St., Huntsville, AL 35806. POC for this event is Brother Roderick Mack.

NAACP Meeting, HAC Primary Seat on Board (May 20) – There is a NAACP #5034 meeting at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 3509 Blue Springs Road at 6PM. We have two primary seats at the NAACP meeting and we need your support to ensure Kappa has a presence. POC for this event is Brother James Foster or Brother Kevin Gaston.

KL Worship Service (May 19) – The KL will attend worship at the First Missionary Baptist Church at 11AM. The attire for KL are Dark Blazer/KL Tie/White Shirt/Khaki pants.
KL Huntsville Police Department North Precinct Block Party (May 18) – The HSV Police Department North Precinct Block Party on the grounds of Alabama A&M University from 11M – 3PM. KL will be at the event to recruit new members.
HAC Community Service (May 18) - The HAC will meet at the Downtown Rescue Mission - Main Campus, 1400 Evangel Drive, Huntsville Al 35816, March 23 at 6:30AM-7:30AM. Please arrive at 6:15 if you wish to participate. The Chapter will assist with serving breakfast. If you are attending please wear Jeans and your Kappa Shirt or Sweater. The chapter would also like to provide family sized can goods during this event. POC for this event is Brother Foster Gaddis.

HAC All White Party (March 11) – The HAC will host the “All White Affair” at the Roundhouse located at 398 Monroe Street, Huntsville, AL 35801. The event will take place from 7PM-1230AM. 7-9:30 “TBA” and 9PM-12:30AM DJ E-Rok (ATL). Admission will be $30 per person. Good evening.
This is just a gentle reminder that on Saturday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m. we will hold our 2nd annual College Signing Day event for our graduating Seniors at First Missionary Baptist Church. The purpose of this event is to highlight our Senior students as they seek to close out their high school careers preparing to enter the next level of education. It will take place in the gym at the church with a brief program followed by light refreshments. All are invited to attend this event so please come out and support our Seniors.
Dress is casual for the general audience however we require that our graduating Seniors dress in white shirt/khaki pants/bow tie. The program will begin shortly after our 8th and final regular meeting.
